Hacker Residency: Day #18

Heyyy, hello 👋🏻!

Today for me was a call day 😂!

• 6am: call with a friend of Travis about a topic I'll talk about soon 👀
• 12pm: call with Aurélien, who gave me a ton of great feedback on Writizzy! Thanks Aurélien, you'll see some small changes starting tomorrow!
• 2pm: call with Maxence, for our second mentoring session! We talked about marketing strategy and SEO, it was great 😊.

So I arrived a bit early at the villa this morning, there was nobody there 😂.

I had time to finish the book I started when I got here, "Même pas mort" by Jean-Philippe Jaworski. Pretty nice, I'm going to start volume 2! I also spent some time improving Sudokio (because why not) and fixing a few bugs.

I then went back to the hotel after my calls to rest a bit, and finish a Product Review I had to do for Uneed.

When I came back to the villa, Jamie had started a talk on N8N!! Honestly, I listened to a good part of it, but I just couldn't help spending half the talk imagining different things I could build with N8N haha, I have so many ideas now!!

Oh and, big news: today, Daniel joined us at the ++Hacker Residency++, I finally got to meet him in real life!! With Tony, he's one of the very first indie hackers I followed on Twitter when I started 🥹.

We continued with the Tuesday evening stream, and this time I participated the whole way through, it was great! Florin was with us, it was so cool 😄!! He's one of the few people I follow very closely on Twitter: he's super interesting, but especially incredibly authentic. He shares a lot about himself, his life, his journey, his successes and failures. If you don't follow him, you should!

Other news: we have our first user on the annual plan on Writizzy, Hassan! You should go check out his blog, it's honestly a gem, and I can't wait to read his next articles. Thank you Hassan 🙏🏻.

Anyway, with all that, I didn't have time to work on Writizzy 😭. I wanted to release the complete theme yesterday, ultimately it'll be (I hope) tomorrow!

Hacker Residency - A personal note

Before concluding this article, I wanted to tell you about something the Hacker Residency is bringing me during this whole month, and that I just realized.

Thanks to the photos, social media, the stream etc, the Hacker Residency allows me to show that I'm human, that I really exist haha, something I don't often do on my own to be honest.

I feel like I'm a bit more real in this virtual world!
