It's currently 10 PM as I write these lines in France. My suitcase is ready, my commits are pushed (I deployed to prod 5 minutes ago π), and goodbyes to my friends are done.
This morning, I also did my last bike ride ππ΄π»!
For an addict like me who goes out almost every day, it's going to be very difficult to stop suddenly: the current weather in Vietnam probably won't allow me to do much cycling. And if youβre a cyclist, you know that changing bike + cycling elsewhere without your gear is not the same (how will I manage without clipless pedals??)!
Thatβs ok, Iβll work on my FTP later π.
Tomorrow, I'm getting up at 4 AM to take the bus to the train station, then the train to the Paris airport, then the plane to Hong Kong, and finally the plane to Da Nang.
I'll arrive 24 hours later, around 9 AM Vietnamese time.
Once there, I'm taking a taxi and heading to the hotel where I'll be spending the next 31 days π±!
I'm really looking forward to arriving, but (I promised to be 100% honest on this blog) I'm also super stressed: I've never traveled this far, and I'm going alone to the other side of the planet to spend a month with people I don't know π !
But it's going to be fine, I'm sure it will be one of the best adventures of my life! See you in 2 days, talk soon ππ»
